Diana Hornung Hanby

Vice President

Prior to joining Thomas J. Hornung & Associates, Diana attended Carthage College, University of Delaware and Wilmington University. She worked a variety of retail jobs during and after college until Tom finally convinced her to join him in September of 1997.

Her first position with the agency was selling Personal Insurance but she has since worked as a Commercial Service Representative, Bookkeeper and Administrator. She has also served as our Agency’s “go to person” when there are issues with phones, computers, etc. She still sells Personal Insurance while balancing a number of administrative tasks for the agency including human resources.

Diana has continued her education earning an ACSR designation and currently serves as the State Chair of the Delaware Association of Insurance Agents and Brokers.

She is the proud mother of 2 children, Seth and Sydney ages 10 and 8 and has recently married James Hanby Jr. who has 2 children of his own. Together, James and Diana are very active in their church and both are enjoying their newly expanded family.
