Colleen began her insurance career with an independent agency in 1986 working her way, through education and hard work, to the position of Commercial Service Representative. She joined Thomas J. Hornung & Associates, Inc in June of 2006 to try her hand as a Commercial Producer where she has performed exceptionally well.

 

Colleen holds a Property and Casualty Insurance license as well as a license for Surety Bonding. She has obtained the Insurance Association’s Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. She has attended numerous advanced “James K Ruble Seminars” for attendees with CIC designations and had completed various “Dynamic Sales Solutions” seminars through the IAB. She has just begun her studies for her Certified Risk Management (CRM) this year.

 

Colleen has also completed the and received certification from the OSHA 29 CFR 1904 Record Keeping curriculum.

 

Colleen is an integral part of the new business production for the agency. Her knowledge of the industry and exceptional IT skills give her a combination that is difficult to beat in an industry that is ever evolving. She also lends her skills in providing service to our customers and training to her fellow commercial lines associates.

 

When Colleen has her rare “down time” she enjoys home renovation, decorating and cooking.
